Interview
30 min video meeting. The QA manager introduced the company and his group to me, and I introduced myself. Near the end of the interview, he gave me a question as an "exercise" and asked me to email him the answer by the end of that day.

Question 1
A nontechnical question that is related to surveillance video cameras. A camera can only save 10 random frames per second, while the video plays at 30 FPS. How can we deal with this so that we know which 10 frames are saved by the camera?
The interview started by asking me to do a self introduction and they asked a few things regarding my previous projects. Then they proceeded by asking me three technical questions regarding C language, which includes solving errors and determining the output.

They asked me to determine the output of a few lines of coding.

Interview
The project manager was a pompous, sarcastic, and condescending individual. The main office appears as they are just moving in or out after a disgruntled previous tenant who vandalized the interior of the suite. The carpet looks like it came out of a jiffy lube facility and the company vehicle graphics were installed by a blind dyslexic child with Parkinson’s disease. I nearly walked out before we got started. Then I met with the gentlemen doing the interviews. Chris was very nice. I was advised everyone wants to be a senior tech but it doesn’t work that way you must work your way up and show your value and earn it. Then why post a position with that title? I was advised that my AAS degree from Kaplan University was bogus that there is no such thing as a degree in information technology without a focus on something. This place looks like it’s on the brink of bankruptcy and the PM there is incompetent at best.

Question 1
Are you good with a drill?
We deceptively brought you in under the guise of a sr. field tech position but would you settle for an installer position instead?
