I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2019
Interview
I had a brief 30 minute phone screen. The recruiter told me that the hiring manager was at a conference remainder of the week and that she would get back me to soon after. I never heard back so in the middle of the following week I reached out via email to see about next steps. Recruiter replied back that she didn't have any updates but hoped to tomorrow. After two more emails sent to recruiter I have apparently been ghosted. No correspondence in almost 2 months. Even a "thanks but no thanks" email would be fine with me at this point.
I initially had a lot of respect for Microsoft and was really excited about this opportunity. But after experience the recruiting or lack there of, I have no desire that works at a company that functions like this.
