Medtronic Engineer interview questions

Hiring company called me and offered me a job. No formal interview seemed to be in place. Was unable to see contract and was told I couldn't see contract because it was between company and hiring company.

They mostly asked questions to test my ability to navigate workplace politics, and hardly evaluated my technical skills. The one technical question they asked was in the area I previously told them I had no previous experience in. Overall it felt like they were grilling me and the environment seemed cutthroat and competitive. I would not have accepted an offer if I received one.
