I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at McDonald's (Baltimore, MD) in Feb 2025
Interview
Typical. Wanted to know customer service experience. I wanted more money than they were offering. Staff was smaller than expected. Worried about working all weekends with no weekends for myself
The interview process at McDonald’s is quick and straightforward. After submitting an application online or in-store, I was contacted within a few days to schedule an interview. The in-person interview was casual and lasted about 15–20 minutes, conducted by a manager who asked basic questions like why I wanted to work there, my availability, and how I would handle customer service situations. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview. They seemed to value reliability, a positive attitude, and willingness to work flexible hours. I received a job offer shortly after, followed by paperwork and a short orientation and training session. Overall, the process was efficient and beginner-friendly, especially for those looking for their first job.
