I applied online. I interviewed at Marshalls in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview was very good and the manager was very friendly. Was just one interview with two people and one of them was the manager. They were both very nice and told me that they want you to smile a lot and show that you want to work there. Another Good tip is to bring a resume because I came 10 min early and had to fill out an application by hand but they said it was okay because i brung my resume with me.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marshalls (Seal Beach, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
There was 2 interviews. The first interview was great and felt very comfortable and welcomed by the person who interviewed me. I felt very talkative and had a good feeling. The second interview was with another person and I don't want to say I didn't feel welcomed but I felt intimidated and didn't communicate much.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marshalls (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2014
Interview
Incredibly simple. I spoke with a sales associate about my desire to work here, and she encouraged me to take an application from the table they had set up. I met with a manager within 30 minutes of having filled out the form, and we had a one-on-one interview. I had not brought my resume with me, as I hadn't anticipated applying or interviewing for anything, but the interview wasn't hampered by my surprise. It was a pretty easy conversation, and I don't recall any of the questions catching me off-guard. He was understanding of my schedule, and I would later find that Marshalls offers insanely flexible hours.
Despite having completed the application, I needed one form to be signed by a legal guardian- I returned to the store within a few days, dropped the form off, and got a call later in the week with a time and date for me to appear for training. Very simple process and not that stressful.
