Interview
1. Online application;
2. Phone interview;
3. In-house interview with Line Manager;
4. Assessment center
It was a great experience. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Assessment center was tough, but if you invest into your homework and just be yourself during interviews - you have good chances.

Question 1
What in your opinion are your strongest Marketing competencies, and which are your development areas?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mars (Bolton, ON) in Jul 2017
Interview
I was moved through the process via a recruiter. The process was as follows:
- Initial call with recruiter
- Meeting with the Director
- Panel/Case Study Interview with 4 Mars employees
Overall it was a straight forward interview. Mars wants to ensure you know your marketing fundamentals, and they really question you on that. The director gave me situational questions to see if I knew how to do Nielsen type analysis. The case study was about driving profitability for the portfolio, and was around repositioning the brands to achieve that. The company is focussed on driving profitability, especially on the pet care business right now.
The case study is in the office. They give you 1 hour to prep,and then 30 mins to present to the panel with questions asked.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mars (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in Mar 2013
Interview
It was nice, you will meet several people from marketing/HR and depending who you get will effect your questioning. It is all very friendly and they will not make you feel uncomfortable. They care about the person you are just as much as your experience. They need to see the "real you"as this company is very much about people as much as results. They need to see how you would lead people as 90% of your time will be getting people aligned to your point of view.
