Process was straight forward! 3 rounds of interview then received an offer. Competency interview (with a business case), behavioral interview, and last round was a pannel interview, speaking with the entire team, and getting to know them

Interview
I applied online through the university's portal. After receiving an invitation to interview, I met with two members of the archives staff at Hayden Library in Cambridge. I believe that the interview took about 45 minutes. Both interviewers were friendly and professional.

For the most part, they asked about my previous experience with archival processing. Due to the specific nature of the project, they also asked about my ability to read music.

Interview
First you submit your application via MIT grad website by December 1, then if selected for an interview they will contact you via email. Interview invite was sent out late January. You are interviewed by 3 people in the program, 1 professor, 1 lab tech, and 1 current student. Interviews are 20 minutes long and conducted over Zoom. Final decisions were sent late February for the program.
