Lush Seasonal Sales Associate interview questions

Had a trial shift yesterday at the Oxford Street branch. Absolute joke if I'm perfectly honest. Do not bother applying if you're considered as an attractive looking person as all they really want is crazy looking people with colourful hair, tattoos, piercings etc. The woman who interviewed me after to say that I was unsuccessful literally had something against me even though she knew nothing about me and was so rude she didn't even bother saying goodbye. She was part of management. They had asked us at the start to try and do 3-4 demonstrations, I had done about 10 and had many of the staff coming up to me to say how well I was doing and how I've got it in the bag. This woman's role was to keep an eye on those doing the trial shift. Afterwards she complained how I basically didn't look like I was high on drugs the whole time, even though I thought I was doing pretty damn well myself. Also, the trial shift was meant to last an hour, I was basically there for 2 hours. I can't really believe that this woman even works for management as she's one of the rudest people I have ever met. All of the staff there were really friendly and could tell they knew what they were talking about.

I applied in store and was e-mailed and asked to attend a hiring party. We were divided into groups and had products described to us. We were then asked to demonstrate the product on the person next to us with as many of details we could remember. We were also pulled aside to answer questions individually which were sometimes fun questions (e.g. what is your favourite harry potter character and why?) and sometimes more standard questions like why you want to work at company and whether we had cash experience etc. They hired most of the people who attended the hiring party so the interview process what not too difficult.
