I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lush in May 2017
Interview
Basic CV and cover letter application - and then if successful, you'll be invited to a group interview. Dependent on the store - the group interview could consist of around 25-55 interviewees. You have to undertake numerous group activities, and do some solo-presenting. If you are successful, you'll be invited to a trial shift. This won't consist of many 1-1 questions, you'll mainly just be put onto the shop floor. It does feel like being thrown in at the deep end a bit - I suggest doing some product research so you know what to talk to customers about. Demo lots of products, if appropriate, in your consultations.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lush (Huntington, NY) in Nov 2018
Interview
I filled out an application online, and received an e-mail containing the next steps. I first had a phone interview, and then after the phone interview I was invited for what they call "Culture hour" where they bring you into the shop, and they give you a better idea of what working for Lush is like. During my Culture Hour, they had me demo a product on a manager, and try to sell it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lush (Chadstone) in Sep 2018
Interview
It was a group interview where we were asked to do very random activities such as draw a superhero. Some activities were relevant to the role, such as giving a product demonstration and creating a gift box for a special occasion. It was quite relaxed and casual.
