I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lumen (Denver, CO) in Jul 2014
Interview
It began with a telephone conversation with hiring Manager. This was then followed up by a short telephone interview with HR who asked general questions about my suitability for the role. Four face to face interviews then took place mostly with people who would be peers of mine if I was successful. There was then a final conversation with both the hiring manager and HR over the telephone.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lumen (Knoxville, TN) in May 2016
Interview
I submitted a resume and was immediately sent a link for an online assessment. I spent an hour and a half completing said assessment for with many of the questions didn't provide enough information from which to draw a logical conclusion, only to immediately receive an exclusion email within seconds. This is rather frustrating to me. I have been in telecom for 20 years with extensive experience in both network and hardware, not to mention a very successful history in Account Management, and my resume will never be viewed by a human being. Disappointing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lumen (Santa Clara, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Fairly straight forward interview process included a screening call with the recruiter, an intro call with the manager and a group 90 day plan presentation. A lengthy and seemingly irrelevant online exam is required and no feedback was provided. A couple calls to negotiate terms and an offer was extended.
