Lowe's Home Improvement interview questions

Offered a number of time slots for the interview through auto-scheduling, which Seemed nice at the time. Arrived at the interview to find the person I Should have been speaking with was Not scheduled to be in the office that day, and That person had the sole authority to hire. Person I spoke with didn't have authority but merely recommendation ability. He was nice enough, though, and was impressed at what I brought to the job (certification in the actual field in the dept. interviewing for). I was informed I Would get a recommendation and that I'd very, very likely be hired and would hear within a couple days. A week and a half later, I called to speak with the person I interviewed with because I had not heard back, and he was Shocked I hadn't already been hired, "You were to be offered the job, I thought you had already accepted!" I responded by reiterating what he said, and stated, too, "So, you Know I was to be offered the job, that an offer was to be made, and the intention was to hire me?" Response: "Yes!" I was told to expect the job offer the next day; when I checked my email, I was informed "Lowe's" decided to proceed with other candidates. Hum. In my opinion, do Not bother with Lowe's. It's process not worth the exasperation. Note: I also learned that the merchandising positions are actually hired, and managed, through a third-party company, and not directly through Lowe's. The party is on-site, working alongside actual Lowe's employees. It's been this way for a few years now. [And, dear reader: I wish you the best in your job search. Hang in there! ]

Very simple, the interview questions are situational and very basic, got hired within a week of the process, I enjoyed working there, application online is also simple, the pay is also great
