Lowe's Home Improvement interview questions

The initial interview process is to sit down and talk to the Store Manager and if the store manager feels as if you’re ready for the next level, they will send you to the district manager in district HR

The interview process itself was fine, but the expected working hours were not disclosed to even consider different working hours. It was know what work hours I would be available, so I was not even considered. Why interview someone for a position if the hours they said they would be available, were not the ones that were required for the position?
