I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Springfield, MA) in Mar 2008
Interview
The first to interview was the Human Resources Manager. She asked me basic personality, situational, and background questions. That whole interview took maybe half an hour or so. The I went straight into my second interview with the zone 2 manager. He asked me more situation based questions but also asked about my future planning. I told him that I'd like to join the management staff at some point. He then gave me my drug test and let me go. A week later I got called in for my third interview with the store manager. The store manager asked me questions on morality, such as "What would you do If you knew another employee was stealing?" and such. After about an hour he shook my hand and said I had the job. My advice to anyone in these interviews would be dress nicely, show respect, and answer personal questions honest, while the situation questions answer with half truths based on what you think the may want to hear but only if you have good judgment.
