I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Aug 2010
Interview
I was an internal candidate who was trying to move up. The questions are all the same for every specialist position. Very nerve-wracking because the interviewers are writing your answers down for later scoring. A few days after the initial interview, I was scheduled for a one on one with the store manager. At which time I was told that I wasn't chosen for the position.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Schererville, IN) in Mar 2011
Interview
Applied on company website for several entry level jobs ,some were seasonal work some were full time .I was called in for an interveiw with H R person .Typical 8 questions about how you reacted in given situations ,for instance how did you ever go out of your way to assist a customer ,or how did you perform in a group situation at your last job.
It seemed very professional and structured ,then I was told that I would be contacted if I was considered for the job ,for a second interview .A week later I was called in for a second interview with one of the zone managers .It was very laid back and we got along great, after some talk he said lets get on to the questions and get this going .
I felt everything went perfect and was confident that I would get the job . Well a week later I went to the store to shop ,I saw the same zone manager and he said that they choose someone else for the position .He said try and apply again ,I did for at least 10 different jobs and was never called
