I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Savannah, GA) in Aug 2012
Interview
After receiving a phone call to set up the interview it was an excellent experience. The first part of the interview was with the Human Resources Director . She was extremely pleasant and very thorough when explaining company goals, procedures and benefits. She then asked a series of questions regarding my professional experiences. Once she concluded her part of the interview I sat down with an Assistant Manager who was equally pleasant and knowledgable. He went over specifics of the department and emphasized the focus on customer service. He also asked a series of questions regarding work history.

Question 1
All of the questions were focused on work experience and how to handle problems. The only difficult question for me personally was retail related because my experience in retail was limited.

Interview
I came back to Lowes having been on family medical leave. My return had to be within 180 days, They said they had nothing available with comparable pay and that a lesser paying job was available and had to re-apply. The process was dragged out and went beyond the 180 days and I lost my insurance.
