I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Lewisville, TX) in Oct 2010
Interview
To get any kind of response you have to bug the crap out of their HR manager. Doing this will show initiative. Just like any retailer they ask situational questions about your previous job. You usually have about 2-3 different interviews before getting an answer on the position that you are interested in. If you have ever had any experience in the position your applying for it doesn't matter. I have found out that this company will hire anybody for any position.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Durham, NC) in Feb 2013
Interview
After Lowe's called me a few times for other positions to just tell me I was being considered for the positions and never get the job nor a phone interview, I finally get a phone interview. Due to me applying for several position about a month or two ago I didn't know which position I was being interviewed for, so my interview didn't get off on the right foot. It was a standard interview and I was told that they will call me back if I got the job. A few days later I get an email saying I was not picked for a job.
