Interview
Applied online and about a week later received a call from the store HR representative. Typical questions about current experience and education, just make sure you arrive in style and make an effort to have some kind of rapport with the HR person. Remember people in HR general have bubbly personalities so fake the bubbly persona. Next step during the day was with the Assistant Store Manager that asked the same questions the HR person provided. However this time, be more specific based on retail metrics because your verbiage will connect with manager. I asked a couple of formal and informal questions during the interview to drag along the interview so that I could develop cohesion with the ASM. (Interview lasted 2 hours) The next Monday was called by HR rep for the usual drug and background check.

Question 1
Unexpected question...Was about dealing with elderly customers and how to work around helping them understand pricing or other issues that may arise. Considering my current store is located near a city that only allows residents +55 and older to reside that wasnt difficult.
