I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Mar 2023
Interview
I was redirected from Indeed to Lowes hiring system. It was all automated however it did not “feel” robotic. It was super easy and I enjoyed the process. I was able to schedule an in-person interview at a date and time that worked for me.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2022
Interview
Interview was rescheduled at the last minute because the robot on the website over schedules like crazy, from what I heard. Easy interview, the manager I was interviewed by seemed heavily medicated and let me direct the interview, which normally is not the best thing to do as a prospective employee, but the lack of questions made me feel awkward. I signed paper work agreeing to their insane scheduling, basically letting the software they use determine when I work. I wasn't asked any of the traditional interview questions. I felt like if you show up and want full time, they give you the job. The whole process felt very disorganized. Despite accepting the job on the spot, I was asked to come back twice more after that before starting my orientation. Sometimes they drug test on the spot once you are offered the job, they had me come back another day. I was still working another job that I was leaving for Lowe's, so having to schedule between going in to show proof of citizenship and doing the drug test, it created unwarranted stress. The HR person has a heart of gold though, literally the nicest person that works at my store.
