Interview
Upon initial interviewing at Lowe's, as well as for any move forward in the company, a candidate must go through 2-3 interviews, ideally from Human Resources to Store Assistant Manager to Store Manager. The questions tend to focus on the candidates customer experience or school group work if no prior work experience exists.

There really aren't any difficult or unexpected questions in hiring for a general customer service associate or cashier. The questions are relatively straightforward and ask you to draw upon your experience with customers, be them good or bad.

Interview
Applied online initially for a different position than I got. Application was very basic, and there was a basic personality test. Was able to aquire interview simply by calling and speaking with Human Resources about the position. Had a total of three interviews, the first with HR, second with a zone manager, the third with the store manager. Questions are simple, things like how you deal with criticism, handling your mistakes, etc.
