I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Temple City, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I walked in and asked if I could apply for a job. She sat me down and just stated talking to me, no resume or application needed. She asked me what classes I had taken in high school, and when I was free. I was referred by a friend, and she doesn't really interview. Instead, you take a placement test that knows your knowledge with math and reading. You should just know basic math (fractions, conversion, solving for variables, etc)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Shorewood, IL) in Jun 2011
Interview
Interview was very straightforward. Wanted to get to know you to see if you would be a good fit for the company. They wanted test scores, but were not going to turn you away if your scores were low. Higher test scores work with high school students. You take a practice reading and math exam and grade it to understand the Kumon experience. Nothing to worry about!
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Perth, Australia Occidental) in Mar 2013
Interview
Submitting CV and coming for a trial session as a tutor. Another tutor was there to answer questions and show you around. After the session, a short interview is carried out with the centre's manager usually based on your general motivation to work there and personal interest. Not very difficult if you can present yourself professionally and be friendly and positive.
