I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2012
Interview
Interviewed on-site at the branch I wanted to work at. Quick interview, maybe 20 minutes, by a manager. Friendly, easy interview for my first summer job. I was only filling in for the summer when the previous manager left for grad school and I had just graduated high school, so this interview may not reflect the interview for a more permanent position.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (South Orange, NJ) in Aug 2013
Interview
Mostly the owner explaining what the Kumon method was and talking about how this job would play a role in my life as a full time college student. There was an application to be filled out which was discusses. I was given the job on the spot. It was an easy process but I also feel I was a good applicant and deserved the position.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Sunnyvale, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
Just asked me about which courses I was taking in high school, it was really easy, very easy going, at least my supervisor. I told her I was taking calculus, and then she just wanted to see me teaching another kid and the approach I used.
