Telephone screening of the usual questions with the franchisee. Then given a 3 hour trial of marking during a typical day. This was unpaid of course. Received no feedback on the day. Was then sent a message from one of the minions that they couldn't afford me. There had been absolutely no discussion about pay! I suspect that each centre could be different and it really depends on the franchisee. Most of the assistants are uni students and most were not studying teaching. This role is all about marking worksheets.
