I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kumon (Northwich, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied with my CV on Indeed, and shortly after I received an email requesting that I attend an interview. The interview would be in three parts, a maths and English assessment, an interview with the Instructor, and a class visit. When I arrived, I was shown around the building and given the opportunity to ask some questions about how the company worked, then I was sat down and asked to complete a maths and English assessment. I did very well in the English assessment, but not so well in maths, which I hadn't done since school. The interview was held straight afterwards. Luckily, the Instructor told me at interview that they were looking for someone who could specialise in English, which suited me well. The interview was fairly simple - they wanted to get to know my personality (they were looking for someone calm and positive) and ask a little about my experience working with children and young people. I was offered the job and completed the paperwork straight after the interview, and then had the class visit the next day.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Kumon
Interview
The Kumon Instructor asked few generic teaching job interview questions and answered a few questions I had about what I would be doing (like what grading was and how assistants helped the students. Then, she gave me one of their worksheets to do .
