I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Hong Kong) in May 2019
Interview
The process was very easy, and it was like chatting with a friend. I did not feel any pressure during the interview. They asked me to share some of my experiences and reasons why I wanted to work here and what motivated me to do so, which was easy to answer as well.
The overall interview is mainly involved about math knowledge based questions that tested basic concepts, problem solving skills, and understanding of fundamental principles rather than complex calculations or advanced topics.
It was online on Google Meets. They made me introduce myself, my education and my previous experiences with teaching. Then they gave me a few math questions to answer. They also asked me to mock-tutor some math questions.
