Sit in office with floor manager/ front end management. He/she reviews resume submitted online. Asks series of general questions about potential/work history. Asks more questions on how you heard about the job. More questions follow referring to why Kroger? He/she will then make a decision after the return of background check clears. Will call in 48-36 hours after interview with job offer or news about background check.

They don't really interview you. Just ask a few common simple questions that most employers ask. Once they call you its to hire you and to immediately do a background and drug test.

Interview
It was a bit awkward. My interviewer seemed wholly unprepared and was really brisk with me. When I finally did get a call from the woman in charge of my orientation, etc, she called me by the wrong name and forced my hand by telling me I had apparently said I would meet up with the rest of the new hires in a secluded area for the new hire orientation when that phone call was the first phone call I had recieved from her. I was disappointed because this was my first corporate position and thought that a multi million corporation would have a handle on at least giving their new hires confidence in their new position
