I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kroger in Jun 2015
Interview
I was looking for a part-time job. I applied on June 30th, received a call the next day to schedule an interview for July 2nd. The interviewer I was suppose to interview with wasn't there so I had an interview with another store manager. Really laid back. She wasn't prepared and didn't have my application in front of her so I told her my current and past work experience. Spent 45 minutes talking about anything other than work. Was offered a part-time position immediately, just have to wait on the drug test to come back. Super fast process for me. Not sure if anyone else will experience the same.

It was a group interview. We had to stand up and describe our worst jobs and best jobs. Try to sell a product to a fake customer. The interview lasted about an hour and a half. It would have been less time but the interviewer was late.

Interview
recruiter took me to break room to interview me, ask me questions about my work history and schooling. She was very relaxed and they gave a friendly vibe. She gave me an oral drug test on the spot and basically told me i was hired because of my extensive work history.
