I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Midlothian, VA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I got there, and the lady who was supposed to interview me wasn't there. Then I had to interview with a woman who had never interviewed anyone before, though she was nice. They offered me the job, but they then demanded that I accept or decline the position right then and there. I had to decline because I had other options. Unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you think your past experiences would help you for the job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Canton, MI) in Jun 2011
Interview
Just a basic question and answer interview. The questions were more or less centered around the job in itself. Also, there was questions about professionalism and conflict. The interview was pretty straight forward. I enjoyed the interview as it was my first job ever.
It was pretty casual. She asked me to tell me a little about myself. She asked me if I had any previous job experience, and I said no and she said that was actually a good thing. She told me that they really needed help in the kitchen and that I would fit in just fine. She told me it was a simple job, just learn as you go and you'll do fine. A little less than a week later they called me and told me to come in for orientation.
