I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Savannah, GA) in Nov 2015
Interview
The in-person interview was fairly simple and quick. First, I applied online for the position through the company website. Then, 3 days later I received a call from a recruiter who gave me an initial screening for the job. He was really nice and scheduled me for an interview set for the next day. My in-person interview was great. The manager walked me up to the office where we basically sat and discussed my schedule (Im in college) and my duties. I basically new I had the job. He then gave me a drug test and it tasted disgusting so he gave me a peppermint and laughed. Then he told me to come in on monday (interview was on a friday) for my paperwork.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Sugar Land, TX)
Interview
We were given two sheets of paper. One consisted of our availability; the other one was of what our favorite thing from Kroger was and why. We had to stand up and tell everyone our name and what our favorite thing from Kroger is and why. Then we all came together and made a sales pitch sing one item that was chosen from our favorites list. Each person had to mention a different benefit to the product and why it should be sold (eg. what topping would be good with the ice cream, why that person should buy it, its cost, ect.) At the end, the job interviewer called up the two people who hadn't been accepted for their job and dismissed them while the three others were congratulated and told to take a drug test and complete other paperwork. It was easy for the most part.
