I applied through other source. I interviewed at Kroger (Louisville, KY) in Mar 2013
Interview
The interview is a two on one with the district coordinator and the store manager. It is part of your required qualification process. It can take up to 12 months to schedule if your district coordinator is busy, so you may need to insist in order to schedule the interview. You are given a list of things to study, all related to department processes knowledge, and they more or less quiz you. This is not always the case. Some coordinators may ask situational questions as well, but that was not my experience.
