I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kroger (London, OH)
Interview
I showed up 15 minutes early for the interview and they met me at the correct time to start going through the questions. The interviewer was very pleasant and polite. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and covered my work history and other fair questions.
The best part is you get to go grocery shopping afterwards

Interview
I applied online and was called a few days later and asked a couple of questions, then I was set up for an actual interview in the store. I showed up and they had absolutely no idea who I was (they didn't know I would be there, couldn't find me "in the system), and the lady who was meant to handle interviews wasn't even there, which was embarrassing. However, they were able to reschedule me for the next day and I interviewed with an assistant hiring manager. The interview itself went fine, but everything else seemed very unorganized (and working there felt the same though to be fair they were having some issues and construction at the time).

Tell me about yourself.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Katy, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
I met with our interviewer along with three other guys. First, we all filled out a few papers of our information. Next, we did a short little presentation where we paired up and both groups did a minute long presentation on what our favorite food is and why a customer would buy it. Afterwords, we filled out another paper with our available hours. Then the interviewer left to review our papers and came back a few minutes later. We all received offers and the positions we were offered were based on our availability. I did not accept the offer that day, I called them back the following day after consideration. A week later I went back to the place we had met to finish filling out a couple more papers and took a quick drug test. I was then assigned a store to attend training at another week or two later.
