I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Roanoke, VA) in Nov 2015
Interview
I had been trying to get a job there for awhile, and I had nearly given up after another failed interview (due to my age) elsewhere. No one had scheduled an interview with me at Kroger, despite calling, talking to the manager, etc. I had all of the interview stuff from the last interview, so I went into Kroger, and surprisingly enough, the HR head was there. I got to talk to her in person. I handed her my info, she was impressed, and the next business day we scheduled an interview. It was alright from there.
My actual interview was painless as there were no real questions, it was very laid back as we just kind of talked.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Holland, OH) in Jun 2015
Interview
The process was long and drawn out. Took nearly a month to finally start training. Interviews were short and easy. Management was very nice during the interview, it was very relaxed, took place at the Starbucks inside the Kroger.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Sylvania, OH) in Apr 2011
Interview
Very informal interview process, was placed upstairs in the main office with people around. Questions were mainly based around availability and desired hours. The lady I spoke with was very nice and was catering to my needs as well as explaining the needs of the company hour wise and time wise.
