It was a group interview. Very easy.
They asked me to pick my favorite item from the store and explain why customers would buy that item.
The interview was easy, however actually getting hired on was difficult. I had to call up there several times to get orientation scheduled.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger in Jul 2018
Interview
Very simple, did not ask much about you, only about your abilities to complete tasks. The least bit personable at all. They make it very evident in the interview that corporate is separate (and to be treated differently) than in-store associates

Interview
The process began online and roughly 8 days afterwards, I got a call for an interview. First advice: Ask if it's an actual interview or 'I come in dressed up, sit for two minutes, and you get me to sign a name and what position I'm looking for'. That can depend on whether or not the manager is in that week, but either way, ask before you go. Always ask questions.
They took my information, sent me an email package for background information, and I received a call about a day later to come in for an actual interview. I sat in the Starbucks area of the store and after a few minutes, the manager came out to greet me. She was friendly and quick to get into the business matters. We go over the typical questions of 'Why do you want to work here', 'How available are you', and general questions you'd expect. They explained each job to me, what to expect from them, and what I could look forward to working them. It was quick, clean, and the manager was happy to answer most any question I asked and offered a few recommendations based on her first impressions.
