I am thoroughly disappointed with Korn Ferry's hiring practices, which I found to be ironically substandard given their reputation as a leader in recruitment and talent management. After applying for a position, I was initially pleased to receive an interview invitation, where I was assured that I would be progressing to the next round. However, weeks have passed without any follow-up or response from their team.
Despite reaching out multiple times, I was met with complete silence. Eventually, I was informed that they had "so many" applications, which prevented them from moving forward with mine. This is a poor excuse from a company that prides itself on exemplifying best practices in hiring.
The lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. As a candidate, being left in the dark for weeks only to receive a vague, dismissive reason for not progressing further is not just frustrating but also highly unprofessional. It seems Korn Ferry fails to practice what they preach regarding effective and respectful recruitment processes.
If this is how they treat potential hires, I shudder to think how they manage client relationships and ongoing projects. I expected more from a company that is supposed to set the standard in the industry. Korn Ferry needs to seriously re-evaluate their approach to candidate management and communication if they wish to maintain any semblance of credibility in their field.
