The initial stages of the interview process were very positive. The recruiter was responsive and clear, and the first interview with the panel was well-structured and productive. I received encouraging feedback afterwards and was told I had progressed to the next stage, with the next round to be arranged once the team returned.
Unfortunately, communication stopped entirely at that point. Despite polite follow-up emails, I never received an update or closure. This was disappointing given the company’s strong emphasis on leadership, people performance, and professional standards. When a candidate has already invested significant time and preparation — and has been informed they’re moving forward — clear communication is expected, even if the role is paused or priorities change.
Overall, the early interview stages were handled professionally, but the lack of follow-through at the end reflected poorly on an otherwise reputable organisation.
