I applied online in response to a listing on an internet job board. I think it was monster or career builder. I received an e-mail from a regional human resources manager and did an interview over the phone. It was basically a "tell me about yourself" interview and discuss salary expectations. Then she asked me to complete an IQ and personality assessment online. The online IQ assessment was mostly situational management questions and reading graphs on department profits and employee metrics/kpi's. The personality test was a basic "are you a good leader" assessment. If you look at the website of the company that does the assessment, you can pretty much figure it out. I think it was Hogan Assessments. Then I received a phone call from the district...I guess I talked to an assistant there about setting up a 1:1 interview and discussed relocation, salary expectation, etc. THEN I met the district manager. He had a script of about four questions and described the training and job. He asked questions like, "tell me about a time you couldn't make a customer happy." Then we talked about salary expectations and he said someone would contact me within a week to tell me either way. I didn't think the interview went exceptionally well, but I received an offer. The whole process took about two weeks.
