I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Keller Williams (Columbia, MD) in Sep 2017
Interview
The selection process went through a recruiter. The recruiting service has a lot of grammatical errors in their written communications and there seemed to be a huge disconnect between the recruiter and the hiring manager. During the first couple phone interviews, I was not able to gage any sense of personality or culture of the company. The process felt very cold and robotic. I think the recruiting service needs to realize candidates are "inteviewing" them as well. I was not asked if Ihad questions. Interview instructions were vague and it appeared as if I made the final selection and never got to meet the hiring manager even at that point. I declined the job offer. I don't think the hiring manager realized what a disservice this recruiter was to them and their business. It did not represent them well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How much money do you need for survival. How much for survival plus bills. How much for "life is good". How much is a "dream".
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Keller Williams (Arlington, VA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I entered my information on their website and set up a time for one of their recruiters to call me. They called exactly at the time I set. From there, they the recruiter told me about the company and why I should join. He asked me what office I would be working out of and he sent that office an email to reach out to me. That office reached out to me that same day. We set up a meeting time. We met and discussed about Keller Williams more.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Keller Williams (Windsor Mill, MD) in Oct 2017
Interview
I had two telephone interviews, took a computer assessment and went to two in-person interviews. The first interview was literally a hundred questions based upon my “profile” generated from the computer assessment. The second in-person interview was based on my life story. I was asked a bunch of personal, inappropriate and some downright illegal questions. Both sessions took an hour and a half! Not to mention I received an invitation to the second interview via email at 6:30 pm asking me to be there at 10 am the next day! After all of this I was informed that I would still have to attend a team lunch to see if the team liked me. I was told by the recruiter if I made it this far I would likely be hired. At this point I wouldn’t have accepted anyway. Out of curiosity I followed up with the recruiter twice to see if a decision had been made. Two months later the position is still open because, according to the recruiter, she never got a response from the broker hiring for the position. Why waste anyone’s time that way? It was easier getting clearance to work for the federal government...which is exactly what I ended up doing.
