I was contacted by a Kantar HR guy who was organizing the recruiting process because The Futures Company is small enough they don't do their hiring in house. The first phone conversation with him went well, and I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager, which also went well. Then I needed to talk to 6 people in 4 time-zones by Skype and phone. The HR guy wasn't very good at scheduling the interviews - I sat waiting for 3 interviews where the people I was supposed to talk to never got in touch with me. Then the HR guy left me to schedule the remaining interviews, which I did. After all of that, I didn't hear back from them at all - the HR guy never responded to my emails.
Which is just unprofessional - anyone with any hiring experience can bang out a "While we were impressed with your qualifications, we decided to go with someone who was a better fit" email in their sleep. To just ghost someone after 8 interviews is ridiculous.
