Applied via indeed. Originally applied for a different role. Had a telephone interview which lasted 10 minutes, then was invited to a face to face interview. This as at head office and was quite relaxed. I was then contacted a week later and invited ti a second interview. I was then informed at that interview that they'd now be interviewing me for a different role. Which completely threw me, as I had't prepared for that particular role and definitly effected me during the interview. I found this very unfair, had I had known, I would have prepared a relevant plan for that job role and not been caught off guard during the interview.
One thing that did stand out is that I was asked at all three interview stages if I'd performance managed someone out of a business. There seemed to be more of a focus on how I'd discipline and dismiss someone, rather than how I'd work to improve someones performance and turn things around. I get this is a standrad question, but there seemed to be so much emphasis on how I'd get rid of an employee, which doesn't seem very inviting of a company.
I was not contacted about my interview and had to contact them. I was told I was unsuccesful and no feedback was given, just a generic responce.
Had I have been told I was interviewing for a different position I know I would have nailed the interview.
