John Lewis & Partners interview questions

Applied on the 11th, invited to interview on the 12th, interview completed on 14th and offer of employment on 21st. Interview process: Was told it would be a group interview and a separate individual interview. First did group exercise for 20 minutes. Worked as a team to discuss customer related scenarios and how we would resolve them. Then given an individual written exercise to complete in 15 minutes, also relating to customer service scenarios as well as some colleague scenarios. Then asked to fill out preferences for the role e.g. availability and role i.e. selling, catering or production.

Part 1 :group interview/discussion about different scenarios on the shop floor and how you would respond to them. There was an assessor for each group who sat quietly and noted everyones responses Part 2: individual written responses to general questions about the job tasks. This was only 1 A4 sheet of paper with 4 questions to answer
