John Lewis & Partners interview questions

Applied online and passed the online questions so got an email for an interview the following week. There was 12 of us, mostly people aged 17- 21. Split into 3 groups with an employer on each table. Did a group task where we had to put a task list in order of importance. Then had an individual task which we had to present to the employer at the end. Was easy.

It took a few weeks to get an interview, there were about 15 of us and we were split into three groups and each group was place with an interviewer. We had to work together on a task that they gave us and our teamwork was judged using the partnership behaviours. Then we had an individual task to complete, We then had an individual interview each consisting of a few questions about ourselves and some other questions (I’ve listed them below) and we were asked to explain our choices and answers on the individual task. The interviewers were all very friendly and respectful.
