After applying online got invited to group assessment where we had to prioritise tasks and had an individual written task on how we would act in different situations. After wards we completed a form about our availability and that's was it.
I heard a response about a week later saying I got into the candidate bank and if there was a role available I would be contacted

I'd heard that most interviews were group assessments however when I arrived I was surprised to see that it was just me having a one on one interview with a Department Manager. The Interview was very informal and I immediately felt at ease. We talked about previous work and questions about dealing with customers. I did a small exercise where I had to choose a product (from a list with their specifications) and match it with the right customer and explain why.
I was asked then and there when I was available to start and started the a couple days after the interview!

15 to 30 questions of different scenarios you may face while working at John Lewis.
Followed by an interview if you pass the test.
The interview is in a Group, followed by a one-to-one interview.
Journey group interview you to make sure speak clearly and allow others to speak to show that you are able to work in a team.
