John Lewis & Partners interview questions

Application is online and compiled of filling out questions and completing an online assessment. Once successful you are invited for an interview at chosen store. Interview I'd heard that most interviews were group assessments however when I arrived I was surprised to see that it was just me having a one on one interview with a Department Manager. The Interview was very informal and I immediately felt at ease. We talked about previous work and questions about dealing with customers. I did a small exercise where I had to choose a product (from a list with their specifications) and match it with the right customer and explain why. I was asked then and there when I was available to start and started the a couple days after the interview!

Online assessment, consisting of a situation judgment test. 15 to 30 questions of different scenarios you may face while working at John Lewis. Followed by an interview if you pass the test. The interview is in a Group, followed by a one-to-one interview. Journey group interview you to make sure speak clearly and allow others to speak to show that you are able to work in a team.
