I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Glasgow, Escocia) in Feb 2019
Interview
I was invited for an interview one day after filling out my online application. I then had to select a time slot for the day do the interview.
Almost two weeks later, I attended the interview. There were four people being interviewed. First, they got all of us to do a group task where we had to discuss a scenario. We had to analyse it ourselves then discuss it as a group and write our thoughts on a poster during a limited time frame.
Afterwards, we all had 1:1 interviews. I had to wait around 20 minutes to be seen for the 1:1 interview. When I was seen, the interview lasted around 20-30 minutes. All of the assessors were lovely and made it a more chilled environment, which calmed me down.
Glad to hear your interview experience was a positive one. We like our assessors to make candidates feel at ease. It's how we get the best out in people so that's also great to hear. Thanks for leaving your review.
I had an Excel test to complete and an interview with 2 of my line managers for the role. Fairly straight word CV based, asked about my skills and experiences to date and talked about what they were looking for. No tricky questions. It was a temp role so only one stage

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2019
Interview
Small group of us that initially had a 1:1 interview, my interviewer asked standard questions about customer service, my job experience etc, make sure you mention you’re a team player, as that’s what they wanna hear. We then had to do a group assessment, where we had to answer 3 questions, and discuss as a group what we felt were strong selling points for customer service and product knowledge. Afterwards we presented this back to the two assessors that were observing on the table. Make sure you speak up, and give your opinions, but do not talk over people, and give others a fair chance to talk!. The assessors wanna see how well you work in a team.
