I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied online and about a month later the recruiter reached out to me to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. My years of experience does not meet their requirement but the hiring manager was still open to give me an interview. The interview was straightforward, mainly on the professional field, to understand what I have been doing, my knowledge, and my approaches of doing. I didn’t make it to the final round, but the interview left me a good image and a very strong interest to join this market leading and Glassdoor highly rated company.
Thank you for your time and providing us with feedback. While you did not receive an offer this time, we're glad your experience was positive and hope that you'll consider us for future opportunities that align with your experience and career goals. Best of luck to you!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
I got contacted by a recruiter and I shared my resume. After 1-2 weeks, One hiring manager showed interest so recruiter scheduled a technical phone interview.
It was a short 30 minutes interview. First 10 minutes discussed about the team, my current work, my background and why I am looking for a new job.
During rest of the interview there were simple technical questions about C and C++. I answered all of them correctly. I was told some one will get back to me soon. I haven't heard anything back from them yet even after I tried to follow up twice.
I saw they posted the job on LinkedIn this morning so I assume they are not going forward with me.
Thank you for your time and interest in Intuitive. We apologize that you were not offered feedback on your interview. This is certainly not the candidate experience we strive towards. Would you be willing to reach out to our Director of Talent Acquisition, Jennifer Hall at jennifer.hall@intusurg.com to give some additional insight? This will allow us to understand the issue better and address this with our teams. Thank you again for your time and best of luck to you!
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuitive
Interview
Phone Screen followed by on site interview - including a series of one on one interviews and a presentation to the team. Very well organized and very good experience. A little short on time, but that was partially because of other meetings the team was involved in on the day I came. Almost wish I had 2 days to interview, because the discussions were very productive and informative.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most questions were related to background and experience - particularly approaches to issues specific to the role I was interviewing for. One question I have remaining for the company is related to their RSU plan for stock grants (benefits and salary are competitive, but I don't understand RSUs vs. Options): are the RSU's granted annually, or is it a one time grant?
Thank you for taking the time to interview with us and leave a review of your experience. We are so happy to have you as part of the Intuitive team! Please follow-up with the recruiter who helped you in the process to clarify our RSU grants. Thank you again!
