I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive (Santa Clara, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I had an initial phone interview. Then I was asked to come onsite where I interviewed with 3 members of the team. Lastly, I had one more phone interview with a team member that was unable to be onsite. The interview process was pretty straightforward. I believe I was just "too green" for this role as a new college graduate.

I applied online. I interviewed at Intuitive (Santa Clara, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
The recruiter I had from Intuitive Surgical was very thorough and provided immediate feedback to me on next steps. I was impressed with how many team members I met with and my ability to see the dynamic nature of the company and its growth. I was even flown out to HQ and quickly heard about my status by the time I landed back on the East coast.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
When Intuitive needs specific talent, it moves quickly to see if they can match people with opportunities. I began with a series of interviews with the team, followed quickly by a visit to Sunnyvale for further interviews that spanned a variety of teams where this position would interact. It was an instructive preview of the culture and a good chance to find fit on both sides.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Intuitive wants high-energy people with a record of achievement, but who are also humble and can operate well in the company's culture. Questions were generally standard in terms of explaining examples of solving problems in the past and outlook on interacting with parts of the business where there could be conflict. Mostly this process aimed at determining if the personality would fit well within the group - the qualification piece wasn't something that they asked much about. It was more about soft skills vs. hard skills.
