I did it remote via skype. It was relaxed and friendly and mainly behavioral. Great job on the hiring team. I didn’t feel pressure and enjoyed talking with them
Welcome to our team, and thank you so much for your time to leave a review for our hiring team. It's feedback like yours that helps us to identify areas which we excel and continue to give positive experiences to our candidates.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
I received this interview from alumni referral. The first round is a phone interview. Most of the questions are concerned about my experiences on my resume. The 2nd round interview happened one week later; I was interviewed by one manager, one HR, and the first round interviewer for 1.5 hours. Questions in the interview were pretty flexible and would test your understanding of certain technical knowledge.
Thank you for writing this review. We appreciate that you considered our company for a prospective internship with us. While you did not receive an offer as it is highly competitive to get these internship positions, we are happy that you had a positive experience with us. Good luck to you in all your endeavors.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive in Oct 2016
Interview
The hiring process was wonderful! Just for anyone interested the recruitment process starts in the fall before your summer internship so apply early. I applied through a post on my schools website and got an email to set up an interview. I had an interview with three people I would be working with (the manager I would report to, someone who seemed like my mentor, and someone else on the team). The questions were really basic just about why I picked my major, what I've done in my past internships and what I am looking for in an internship. Next I got a call from HR explaining more details of the internship, not really any interview questions just getting more into the details to see if I was still interested. A few days later I scheduled a skype interview with two people (two that I already talked to on the phone). They just asked a few more basic questions about my expierence, it was more to get to know me. A few days later I got a phone call from the HR person I had talked to before and verbally accepted and later (< 2 hours later) received the offer letter via email!
