I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was three rounds. First, was a call with a recruiter. Second, was a longer call with a manager. The third round was the longest. Applicants must present an autobiographical slide show reviewing their background and accomplishments. After the presentation, a role-play type interaction was expected. For the level of the position asking this of applicants is too much. Ultimately, after completing all three rounds, I never heard an answer about the job.

Question 1
Can you prepare a slide show about who you are, your work/education history, and two accomplishments and share it with a hiring panel?

Interview
Three rounds then ghosted. Weeks have passed with no contact. Everyone’s time and sanity is valuable. Leaving a person afraid to not answer the phone or worried about missing an email is awful. They have great values advertised on their website. I feel like the interview process goes against at least some of the core values. Difficult might not be the correct description but it was a huge mental drain followed by no contact. I can handle rejection but ghosting is so much worse. Job searching is ugly enough right now. Handling people like this reflects poorly on the entire organization. I friendly ‘no thank’ you email would go a long way in preserving some goodwill.

Question 1
Star method questions, an autobiographical slide show discussing personal and professional accomplishments is required, then a role playing game- that was a mess.
