I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Intertek (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
The overall interview was pleasant. A group of 3 to 4 people interviewed for about 45 minutes. I wouldnt mention anything about school. They get spooked very easily about grad school of any kind. They have lost people to med school and grad school and will deny you an offer if they think this is a stopgap job.
Quick organizing of interview, but no results announced. No clear understanding of the position: Human Resource Manager and director were providing different descriptions and visions!
No feedback, and even after several reminders no reply at all. Arrogant and awful attitude. Headquarter needs to do somethings with this affiliate, but I heard that such attitude is worldwide (Moody!!!)

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intertek
Interview
The inital interview was via phone with the director of the department. A week later, an in-person interview was set up with four people. I was given a tour of the facility, then spetn about 30 minutes with each person. The tone was conversational and casual. Very comfortable.

Question 1
Strange as it may sound, the question that caught me off guard was, "What are you reading right now?" I had been spending so much time searching job sites and sending out resumes that I hadn't been reading much and couldn't remember the last book I had read.
