I applied online. I interviewed at Intertek (Manchester, Inglaterra) in May 2018
Interview
The assessment centre consisted of a couple of talks about what the company did, two tests and an interview.
The first test was a verbal/numerical/data handling style exam and the second was either a biology or chemistry paper, consisting of university first year science questions and some questions about GMP and lab procedures. Nobody at the assessment centre finished the questions, many finished about half and it seemed unnecessarily difficult. There was a lunch after where it became apparent that many employees don’t particularly want to work there because of the comparitively low pay.
The interview was with two members of the team I was to join. Neither had read my C.V. in advance, knew who I was or prepared any questions to ask me, which made it quite difficult to answer. They were quite unprofessional and would have become my supervisor/manager.
They are yet to inform me if I got the job or not over a month later. It’s quite unprofessional to say that they’ll let you know and then not do.

Question 1
What can you do? (The vaguest question I’ve ever been asked in an interview)
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intertek (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Jul 2018
Interview
Horrible experience, as I was first accused of cheating in the test via using my mobile phone, Then when they didn't have any proof of it, they told me I was using my phone a lot while a manager was giving a presentation, also not true. Then the same manager asked me to pick my belongings in front of other participants and escorted me out of the interview room and to the main entrance and told me to leave,, just BEFORE LUNCH so I couldn't have lunch with them nor have an interview. They treated me like I am a high school child or something. I found this attitude very immature and insulting. I did email the HR department about this later on, but obviously no reply. I assume the management controls everything and HR has no say. Coming from a professional Scientific background where I have worked with Universities on Research Science and Pharmaceutical Companies, I have never encountered such immature, insulting behavior from childish managers who think they can treat people as such and from observing reviews from former employees I am not wrong in saying what I have said above. I guess they look at pretty faces that sell as they are client based company and management is immature.
Another point I want to make is they tell you to do a test based on Biology or Chemistry. The test can consist of any questions (inorganic/organic chemistry - protein biology/Lab techniques). First of all why do a test without any source to refer to, no books to study or material to study from, (your not told before the interview what the specific topics would even be) its like your just put into a room and you have no clue whats going to be on the test and you have to answer random questions on Bio or Chem. Biology and Chemistry are NOT a small subject and I know for sure the current employees at this company mostly would fail at the test too if they had taken it. I do not think this is a very reasonable way of testing people.
Besides that, what the day consisted of...
-A group of us where shown a presentation of the company
-Given an alphanumerical test to do (lasts 30 mins) - not too difficult
-Given a Biology or Chemistry test to do, depending on what you specialize in (30 mins) - not too difficult.
-Shown around the laboratories
-Lunch then personal interviews

Interview
Got a call to interview, we set up a time to meet in their office. Received another call asking to move the interview to another date. I returned the call off of my cell, and Interviewer said, " It was not him." I got another call asking If I still want to interview two days later. I went for the interview and was a waste of time. One interviewer would not look at you when he asked questions and took notes on everything I said. The other interviewer, "not him" was skeptical on my history, which is verifiable by a simple phone call. I deleted my resume off their system after the interview.
