Interview was brief, met with 2 people who were very nice but they are looking for a specific type of person mainly people involved in Greek life which I found irritating.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Explain to me a time in the past when you had to put yourself on the line"
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Boston, MA) in Jul 2013
Interview
I began with a telephone interview that lasted about 25 minutes. During that time, we covered various parts of my resume. It was very easy and more conversational.
Following this, I was invited for a second interview at the Boston office. During the interview, I was asked ONE question. "Tell me about yourself". After talking about this for a few minutes she asked me if I had any questions. I brought a list of questions, and for the next 20 minutes I asked all the tough questions. After I was running low, I asked her if she had any more questions for me. She simply repeated the previous question I had asked. The following is what I found out about this company during my interview:
For the first 6 months: You get to work for an account manager sifting through thousands of resumes on sites like Monster.com to find qualified candidates. Once you find some, your account manager will close the deal keeping the commission.
Salary: $37,000
Average work week: 50-60 hours
Paid Vacation: 3 days in the first year, but not encouraged especially at first
Competition: You will be competing and begging for clients with over 8,000 staffing companies as competition.
Insensitive: If you bring in over $550,000 in revenue for the company, you get to go to the Bahamas.
I was declined for a follow-up interview, but I never intended to continue the process.
