Interview
Applied online, a recruiter called me back the next day. We talked for 15 minutes and she scheduled me for a face to face interview at the office. Weirdest interview i have ever been a part of. I met with 3 different people at 3 different times. First it was the sales manager, who had no interest in my previous work experience and only talked with me for 10 minutes. Keep in mind, I just graduated from San Diego State University 2 months ago where I was in th Sigma Chi Fraternity. I am a social guy and i know how to hold a conversation/handle an interview. It was almost as if the sales manager had made her decision within 5 minutes. She was clearly anxious to get out of the room the entier conversation and just difficult to have a conversation with. After i met with the sales manager, she passed me off to an account executive. The account exec was super nice, friendly and just basically wanted to answer any questions i had about the position. we talked about the bar scene in san diego and although she was nice, she was extremely unprofessional. She told me my cologne reminded her of her ex Boyfriend and was swearing during the interview "because she said it breaks the ice". After the first account manager i was feeling a little more confident about the interview, thinking she liked me because i made her laugh and we had a good conversation. I then met with anotehr account manager who was very nice as well. More professional than the first A.M and actually asked me a few questions like, what motivates me? Tell me about a time you had to overcome adversity in your life? Overall the interview was just weird. I have no idea what they were looking for. i went into it thinking they wanted someone who can hold a conversation and "chat it up" but i didnt fit their description.

Interview
Everyone was great here. The corporate recruiter was really knowledgable about the position. I met with the CIO and others in the IT group for two hours and then they invited me to lunch the next day for a social outing. They were more concerned with who I was rather than reading my resume.

Question 1
The most unexpected questions I got from them were about me personally. I wasn't used to a company that was so invested in finding people that fit their culture. It ended up being a great experience though.
